and solid and reassuring,
A sweet scent, detergent
and clean and you,
A casual conversation, laughter
and sarcasm and creativity,
A favorite view, long
and pale and smiling,
A taste of adulthood, sweet
and liberating and fun,
A beautiful relationship, relaxed
and exciting and right.

Those two lines gave me the most trouble out of the whole lot!!! I had the large stanza written fairly quickly and I liked it, but it just seemed to need some sort of introduction. The stupid thing took about a billion tries to get right...
but I am okay now. ^^;

Haha! I know what you mean by some lines just being a pain but sometimes, those lines that are a pain come out to being some of the best! :)

i'm glad you took the time to get those first two lines just so. For they are a great introduction to the rest of the piece.

This piece reminds me of my childhood and everything that was wonderful about it; rather than lamenting what is no longer true as i often do in my writings. Thanks for reminding me.
